Brenda was a gracious, warm and welcoming host who led a deeply troubled life. She seemed to find escape in her visionary artworks. Brenda took care of infirm friends and children under the roof of her double-wide while she covered the walls and ceiling with fantasy visions of her mind travels. She made us feel like part of the family when we visited, and we always looked forward to our next return.
